Yamini Rangan

Yamini Rangan is the Chief Executive Officer of HubSpot, a global leader in CRM and marketing automation. She was appointed CEO in 2021, after serving as HubSpot’s first-ever Chief Customer Officer, a role she took on in January 2020. In this position, she oversaw the company’s marketing, sales, and services teams, unifying them with a strong customer focus. Rangan is a seasoned technology industry veteran with over 25 years of experience spanning product marketing, sales, and strategy. Before joining HubSpot, she held significant leadership roles at other prominent tech companies. She served as Chief Customer Officer at Dropbox, where she was responsible for embedding customer focus across the organization.

Prior to that, she was the VP of Sales Strategy and Operations at Workday, where she played a key role in quadrupling revenue and scaling the sales organization. Her career also includes customer-facing leadership roles in strategy, pre-sales, and value-based selling at SAP, where she helped close significant deals. Yamini Rangan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, and an MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.

She has been recognized for her leadership, including being named one of the “Most Influential Women in Business” by the San Francisco Business Times in 2019 and “Best CEO for Women” by Comparably in 2022. Under her leadership, HubSpot has focused on AI-driven innovation and expanding its global presence, while also implementing initiatives like “No Internal Meeting Fridays” and a “Global Week of Rest” to support employee well-being. She also serves on the Board of Splunk. Rangan is also celebrated for her commitment to diversity and inclusion, ensuring that HubSpot’s leadership is representative and supportive of all employees​.
