We connected with Indian diaspora in Canada across different professions; explored common philanthropic interests for giving to India and within North America; and met Indo-Canadian entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and other industry leaders, and sought to strengthen global diaspora ties with senior Indo-Canadian politicians and policymakers. The day-long, invitation-only summit was held in conjunction with the Indian and Israeli Consulates, the US-India Business Council (USIBC), and the American Jewish Committee (AJC), among other supporting organizations. Indiaspora member Raju Reddy served as one of the panel judges for the pitch competition where startups proposed their business ideas.
