Nitin Mehta is an accomplished serial entrepreneur, venture capitalist, and philanthropist out of Silicon Valley. He has a passion for finding and nurturing terrific entrepreneurs to build large successful tech, biotech, and non-tech companies. In doing so he leverages his consulting proficiency gained with McKinsey & Company; executive management leadership with series of private and public companies in multiple sectors such as B2B enterprise software, healthcare, legal, travel, cruise lines, supply chain, distribution, etc.; and honor of being one of the earliest if not the first venture capitalists of Indian origin in Silicon Valley as a general partner of Weiss, Peck & Greer. He is an active investor in several VC, PE, and RE funds throughout the world.
He was also a co-founder of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs), the largest global non-profit entrepreneurial organization in the world with 60 chapters worldwide. He is currently Executive Chairman of ColorTokens, a high-growth cybersecurity firm, and sits on the board of a wide variety of tech and non-tech companies. Mr. Mehta earned a Doctor of Business Administration from Harvard Business School, an MBA from University of Wisconsin, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering (summa cum laude) from SD Tech.
