There has been an outpouring of requests from our Indiaspora members and the Indian diaspora community regarding organizations to donate to in India at this time. Here is a list of some trusted NGO organizations that are working on different aspects of COVID-19 relief, and how to contribute to their efforts.

Many are part of the INDIA PHILANTHROPY ALLIANCE (IPA), a coalition of nonprofit, philanthropic, and charitable organizations that mobilize people and funding in the United States (and elsewhere) for development and poverty-reduction programs in India.
Oxygen Concentrators
Aarti for Girls is helping to procure 100 oxygen concentrators, as well as build a Pressure Swing Adsorption Oxygen Plant for the local Government Hospital. Learn more here.

The Project Prana Foundation is a spin out of research performed at MIT, in collaboration with Harvard Medical School. Since the pandemic began, UNICEF USA has been working with partners in India to stop the spread of COVID-19, and the recent focus is on supplying oxygen concentrators and testing supplies. The WHO Foundation has been working to address the pandemic through its Covid-19 Response Fund, which will help provide equipment, supplies, and technical advice to the emergency response efforts across India. Their “Together for India” campaign is currently focused on a scale-up of active case detection, epidemiological/situational monitoring and assessments, and augmenting the supply of resources to ensure equitable access to testing kits, medicines, vaccines, and lifesaving consumables.
