Anil Revri

Anil Revri is a contemporary artist whose unique style incorporates Eastern and Western artistic, philosophical, and religious traditions. Acknowledged as being in the vanguard of the Transmodern movement, Revri’s works created after 1996 are sur-real in that they seek to give form to experiences of a spiritual nature through the technique of geometric abstraction. His acclaimed Cultural Crossings series earned the support of the White House Initiative on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders and was exhibited at the United Nations’ Millennium World Peace Summit of Religious and Spiritual Leaders in 2000. Most recently, a sculpture — Wall For Peace — he created for his show at the American University Museum (2012) was displayed at Dulles International Airport.
