Arun Venugopal

Arun is the host and creator of Micropolis, a series produced by WNYC about race, gender and ethnicity. The series is wide-ranging in its approach, examining the meaning of turbans in post-9/11 America, the $20 billion global skin-lightener market and the pros and cons of ethnic enclaves. He is a regular contributor to NPR’s Morning Edition, All Things Considered and On the Media, and has written for the Wall Street Journal, Salon and other publications.
