Ashish Shah, CEO, North America at GiveIndia

Ashish Shah is CEO, North America at Give where he leads Give’s strategy to grow philanthropy from the United States to India with a focus on corporations, foundations, and high-net-worth individuals. Prior to that Ashish was Senior Director of Philanthropy & Community Engagement at Indiaspora where he led and executed strategies to support Indiaspora’s goal of significantly scaling the level of philanthropic giving by the Indian diaspora worldwide. During Ashish’s tenure, Indiaspora launched its annual giving campaign ChaloGive, published thought leadership on diaspora giving, and launched a global list of one hundred Indian and diaspora philanthropists.  In 2020 and 2021, Ashish led two special ChaloGive campaigns to provide COVID relief to India and the United States. These campaigns addressed food insecurity, livelihood assistance, and healthcare, among other challenges. Ashish began his career as a management consultant and spent over 12 years working in the  telecommunications and healthcare industry.  In 2015, he co-founded GivingRise, a nonprofit organization focused on making individual giving to India from the United States simple, transparent, and impactful. Ashish holds a Bachelors in Engineering from Mumbai University and a Masters in Telecom Policy from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
