Kamesh Nagarajan

Kamesh Nagarajan is a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Management Director at Morgan Stanley with over 16 years of experience. His team, The Prandara Group, focuses on helping corporate executives with concentrated stock planning, and in advising physicians and entrepreneurs on comprehensive wealth management issues.  He is also an International Client Advisor, specializing in working with Indian citizens or residents that want to have a US based wealth management portfolio.  In 2002, he was recognized by the Rochester Business Journal for their 40 Under 40 award. He is a national speaker on various financial topics and has also written many finance articles for various publications.  Kamesh is the President of Ascend-NY and a Charter Member of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TIE-NY). He is actively involved with Lend-A-Hand India and the American India Foundation (AIF).He is active at The Columbia business school as a sounding Board mentor and a mentor in The Columbia Mentorship Program for Entrepreneurs.

He served as the Vice Chairman of the India Community Center of Rochester. He also served on the Board of Directors of the Rochester Area Community Foundation and was a founding member of DIAL (Development of Indo-American Leaders). He was a previous Vice Chairman of the India Community Center of Rochester and a recipient of the Asian American Business Development Center’s Outstanding 50 Asian Americans in Business Award.

At Morgan Stanley he is a member of The Morgan Stanley President’s Club for top advisors at the firm. Kamesh was also a panelist at the 2013 Barron’s Top Advisor Diversity Summit. In 2014, Kamesh has been selected as a Global Emerging Leader by the Roshni Media Group and will be featured in their upcoming Coffee Table Book, Roshni, Global Emerging Leaders and a recipient of Roshni Inspirational Leaders award the Roshni Media Group Annual Awards Gala Evening in 2015.

Kamesh resides in Manhattan with his wife Ami and their five year old twins, Anya and Prem.
