Mayura Sen, Senior Director at Indiaspora

Mayura Sen is a passionate advocate for social justice and equity dedicated to bridging sectors and building dynamic partnerships to enable solutions to our world’s challenges.  She is the Senior Director of Indiaspora’s US Workforce Development Initiative.  Prior to joining Indiaspora, she was a social impact consultant advising clients such as the Skoll Foundation and Oxfam America.  Previously, Mayura was the Associate Director of Corporate Partnerships at Partners In Health, focused on creating strategic partnerships to increase access to healthcare for patients in resource poor settings.  Prior to that, she was the Director of Giving at the One World Play Project where she built partnerships with a global network of sports for development and health focused non-profits.  She is also a former member of the early team at TOMS Shoes and helped build the supply chain for the giving side of the business.

Mayura serves on the Board of the One World Play Project, and as an advisor to the VFT Aarti Home; an India-based NGO focused on child abandonment and infanticide; and Senhoa, a Cambodia-based NGO supporting survivors of human trafficking through micro-enterprise.  She has also served as a judge for the Bay Area Global Health Innovation Challenge and UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business Global Social Venture Competition.  Mayura holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a BA in Design/Media Arts from UCLA.
