Michael co-founded Toilet Hackers. He co-created the world’s first global sanitation hackathon in partnership with the World Bank.

Michael concentrates on generating growth strategies, impact investing, human centered design and collective impact.

Michael started his career in finance. He worked at Morgan Stanley in their London and New York offices. He became an entrepreneur and built up ventures in the wellness and real estate sectors in the US, UK and Latin America.

He is an Associate Fellow at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and a Visiting Scholar at UC Berkeley’s Blum Center on Developing Economies. He has written two books and is a contributor to Forbes.
