Prasad Kaipa, Co-Founder of Center for Consciousness Studies and Inner Transformation

Mr. Prasad Kaipa grew up in a South Indian family where Sanskrit and Indian scriptures were valued as much as western education. Prasad got his Ph.D. in Physics from IIT Madras and was a faculty member in the University of Utah. He partnered with Bill Atkinson to research the nature of learning to design tools that augment human intelligence while he was a research fellow in Apple. That research led to him interviewing several experts including nobel laureates and ending up re-examining Indic spiritual wisdom to learn more about human development and organizational transformation in 1990.Prasad’s started integrating western management models with brain research and Vedanta in developing senior executives and organizations in the area of innovation and leadership. 

By 2019, he advised and coached 130+ C-level executives at Fortune 500 companies and taught in several business schools in the US and India. Prasad used Bhagavad Gita framework and interviews with CEOs to co-author a bestselling book “From Smart to Wise” in 2013. He founded the Center of Leadership, Innovation, and Change (CLIC) at the Indian School of Business (ISB) as well as co-founded TiE Silicon Valley’s Entrepreneur Institute, with 13,000+ participants over 10 years.He is on the boards of Samskrita Bharati USA, Yoga Bharati, North South Foundation and co-created Center for Consciousness Studies and Inner Transformation with Hari Kiran Vadlamani of Indic Academy and Raghu Ananthnarayan to develop Yogic Leadership and Yogi Coaching frameworks. Otherwise, he is enjoying time with his granddaughter, playing table tennis and hiking whenever he can.
