Manager, Strategic Philanthropy, Dasra

Radhika manages the US presence for Dasra, a leading strategic philanthropy foundation. Dasra, which means enlightened giving in Sanskrit, accelerates social change in India by creating a system for more effective philanthropy in partnership with donors, social sector organizations, and the government.

In the US, Radhika advises individuals, foundations, and companies on how to create greater impact in India, and disseminates knowledge about social innovation and philanthropy in India—reframing India as place that the international community can learn from in addition to give to. Prior to this role, Radhika worked at Dasra’s headquarters in Mumbai, influencing Indian philanthropists to take action on critical, though less mainstream, issues such as child marriage and empowering adolescent girls.

Before pursuing a career in the social sector, Radhika worked at AllianceBernstein. She also led the first young professionals committee for Sakhi for South Asian Women, an anti-domestic violence nonprofit in the New York area.

Radhika has a B.A. from Wellesley College, from where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and is a StartingBloc Social Innovation fellow.
