Rajeev Srivastava, is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Basil Partners, with over 30 years of global investing and operating experience in the technology services space across US, Asia, Europe. Prior to Basil, Mr. Srivastava was the CEO and co-founder of Apar Infotech Corporation. Rajeev led Apar through a merger with Ness Technologies and subsequent IPO on NASDAQ in September 2004. He has been actively involved since inception in the “Mid-day Meal” program (http://annamrita.org) in Mumbai, that provides nutritious food to school children all over India through its 22 kitchens. An initiative kicked off in 2004 with 26,000 children has grown to over serving 1.2 million children daily. 

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Annamrita served over 2.6 Crore free meals all over India. Annamrita has been a recipient of several prestigious awards such as the Unilever Lifebuoy Award, RM Bajaj Award, FSSAI award, CII award etc. He has also been actively involved with Govardhan Ecovillage – GEV (https://ecovillage.org.in/) – GEV is working with over 78 tribal villages in Palghar for their social, economic and ecological upliftment. GEV has won several awards including United Nation’s UNWTO #1 award in 2017 for excellence in Innovation & Tourism (NGO),  National Energy Globe Award for Integrated Water Conservation and Protection, Five Star rating under GRIHA (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment) Rajeev is on the Board of TiE, Singapore and the Co-Founder of Artha Forum (www.arthaforum.com) – an initiative that aims to take Spiritual teachings into the Business world and guide entrepreneurs, professionals and business leaders to applying the principle of “Earn With Integrity, Spend With Compassion”. Artha forum has conducted events all over the world, including USA, London, Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong and India and has inspired several entrepreneurs to contribute a part of their equity to charity.
