Executive Director for Regions and Operations, Federal Aviation Administration

Ravi Chaudhary is a member of the Senior Executive Service, and is the Executive Director for Regions and Operations at the Federal Aviation Administration. In this role he is responsible for execution of operations in 9 different regions located nationwide. He is also responsible for executing a $254 Million operating budget. In May of 2014, Ravi was appointed by President Barack Obama to his Advisory Commission on Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Ravi is a former Air Force pilot, having completed 21 years of service to the Nation. He is currently conducting doctoral research in Executive Leadership and Innovation at Georgetown University. He has logged over 3000 hours as a pilot and flight test engineer (760 combat hours) and multiple deployments since Sept 11, 2001.
