Rima Pande, Advisor for Recon Strategy and Author

Rima Pande is a healthcare strategy consultant with a strong passion for human centered healthcare, nutrition and equity. She believes that each individual should have access to quality affordable healthcare. She has engaged with the development sector in many ways including curriculum development, pro-bono consulting, founding a non-profit marketing company in the US for India-based craftspersons, mentoring social entrepreneurs, as a member of the Advisory Board at AID Boston and most recently, an engagement with The/Nudge Institute. Rima has recently published a book titled His Voice, a journey through her father’s mind to share his unspoken thoughts and emotions during two years he was paralyzed and unable to speak after a stroke – a memoir of sorts. She is sharing his story to draw attention and trigger conversation and reflection on the challenges associated with aging, disability, caregiving and palliative care. She lives in the Boston area, enjoys parenting three kids, unstructured cooking, and “maximum” travel. Rima holds an MPA from the Kennedy School at Harvard, and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta.
