Shohini is a PhD student at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

She has received several honors and awards from notable organizations including the National Science Foundation, US EPA, US Department of State, US Department of Defense, Intel Corporation, Ricoh Corporation, the Corporation for National and Community Service, Telluride Association, and Henry David Thoreau Foundation. She currently serves on the board of directors of the Telluride Association, an educational non-profit organization with an endowment of $50 million that offers educational opportunities and scholarships to high potential high school, undergraduate, and graduate students.

Shohini graduated in May 2016, with high honors and distinction from Cornell University in three years. She studied economics, computer science, and mathematics.
