Geeta Kulkarni
VP Finance - Australia, Copenhagen Infrastructure Service Co.
Geeta leads the Corporate Finance, Business Controlling and Tax compliance for renewable energy projects in the Copenhagen Infrastructure Partner portfolio across Australia and New Zealand. In this role, Geeta is responsible for the financial management of funds invested across diverse and innovative renewable energy technologies including off shore wind, onshore wind, hydrogen, hydro power, solar and batteries.
Geeta has a track record in developing teams and functions across Finance and Corporate disciplines including Legal, Human Resources, Corporate Secretarial, Corporate policies, Procurement & Contracts. AS CFO of a small cap ASX listed business, Geeta applied an integrated business performance improvement approach to invest in targeted supply chain and operations initiatives to turnaround the financial performance and deliver greater value to the key stakeholders.
She has worked across a diverse range of industries. In addition to renewable energy infrastructure development and fund management, Geeta has experience in automotive, packaging, education and laboratory technology sectors.
Outside of her professional role, Geeta is passionate about making a difference by bringing her financial leadership & governance skills to the Not-for-Profit sector. She is a Non Executive Director and Treasurer at JUNO and at Blue Light Victoria. These organizations pursue the mission of empowering women and youth in creating a life they choose to ultimately build a fulfilling pathway to success.
She is a qualified Chartered Accountant (India), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Australia and a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
