Udi Chattopadhyay

Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer, Four Rivers

Udi Chattopadhyay is Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer at Four Rivers (an Ergo Company). Prior to this he was Head of Strategy and Business Development at Ergo, a leading global intelligence, risk and advisory firm, where he also launched the India practice.His other experience includes strategy consulting at McKinsey & Co. and KPMG serving clients including Fortune 500 companies and NGOs. He also led business development and strategy at the American Museum of Natural History and the Times Square Alliance, managing properties reaching global audiences of several hundred million, with partners including Fox, McGraw Hill, AT&T, Yahoo!, Starbucks, Coca Cola and CNN.

He has previously advised the Indian Embassy on media engagement in the U.S., and was also a regional coordinator for South Asian voter registration in Queens (New York) and Rhode Island prior to the 2008 Presidential Election. He has advised several South Asia based NGOs including the Grameen Bank and the Aga Khan Foundation on branding, and the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation on foreign investment strategy. Udi grew up in London; he has a BA and MA in Economics from the University of Cambridge, and an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business where he was a Thouron Scholar.
