Gary Gauba

Entrepreneur and Philanthropist

Gary Gauba is a serial entrepreneur and philanthropist with a passion for entrepreneurship, innovation, and new technologies. Sustainability and Carbon Zero Footprint is a high priority for Gauba and with that in mind, he is working on building the largest Net Zero Green 400+ MW DC data ctr in the heart of Silicon Valley.  Gary is also Founder & Chairman of TruU, Inc, the industry leader in AI driven Human & Behavioral Risk Continuous Authentication platform. 

Entrepreneurship is in Gauba’s DNA, and over the past three decades, he has bootstrapped, self-funded, and successfully exited three companies: Cognilytics, Systech, and Softline. Cognilytics was one of the first companies globally to focus its whole strategy around big data, machine learning, and AI, and was acquired by CenturyLink in 2014. Entrepreneur Magazine in 1997 ranked  Softline as the second fastest growing company in the U.S.A. — prior to acquisition by KPMG. 

In 2018, Gauba was focused on curating the next set of disruptive companies through a unique platform  and launched The CXO Fund whose LPs are a diverse group of over 100 CXOs that are predominantly  current and former senior executives from Fortune 500 Companies. 

Gauba is very passionate about creating a positive society and has been deeply engaged as Co-Chair of  NextGen, a nonprofit whose mission is to educate underprivileged, underrepresented youth with diverse talent in Cyber Security. Gauba is on the board of the El’s for Autism Foundation.  

Gary’s hobbies include food and fine wine, golf and powerlifting. His love for fine wine and food has no boundaries- 10 years ago, he became a major stakeholder & Chairman of SF’s first Michelin 3-star  restaurant- Saison. Gauba is on the board of as well as several emerging startup companies-TruU,  Pyxis, Cogni, Balbix and Modjoul.
