Mohamed Althaf

Director, Lulu Group International Dr. Mohamed Althaf is a Director at Lulu Group International, responsible for spearheading the company's strategic expansion and identifying new revenue streams. In his role as Director of Y International in the USA, UK, Italy, Spain, and Australia, Dr. Althaf oversees the Group's export and distribution operations across Europe, Australia, and the US. He is also a strategic partner for sustainable food technology companies. With qualifications in Law, Intellectual Property Rights, and Circular Economics, Dr. Althaf is an alumnus of the University of Delhi and the Said Business School at Oxford University. He is an Indian national and a member of several international business forums.

Sujit Banerjee

Managing Director, K1 Operations Sujit Banerjee is a Managing Director at K1 Operations. He is responsible for leading K1 Operations and its proprietary IOps initiative throughout the portfolio. Previously Mr. Banerjee was a Managing Director at Element Partners, a Partner at Bluerun Ventures and a Management Consultant at Pricewaterhouse coopers. Mr. Banerjee began his career at Synoptics Communications where he designed networking equipment. Mr. Banerjee is a graduate of the Wharton School of Business, where he received an MBA, and of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he received a BS in Electrical Engineering with Eta Kappa Nu academic honors. Mr. Banerjee has served as a director and founder of numerous technology companies and currently serves on the Wharton Graduate Executive Board as well as the Rensselaer Silicon Valley Executive Council.

Shub Bhowmick

Chief Executive Officer & Co-founder, Tredence Shub Bhowmick is the CEO and co-founder of Tredence. For more than 25 years, he has been a problem solver, entrepreneur, and technology leader. In 2013, Shub and his partners launched Tredence, a data science and AI engineering company focused on solving the last mile problem in analytics. The ‘last mile’ is defined as the gap between insight creation and value realization. Tredence is 1,000-plus employees strong with offices in Foster City, Chicago, London, Toronto, and Bangalore, serving 30+ Fortune 500 companies in retail, CPG, hi-tech, telecom, travel, and industrials as clients. Prior to the founding of Tredence, Shub held senior executive positions at Diamond Consultants (now PwC), Mu Sigma, Liberty Advisor Group, and Infosys. Shub holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Technology with Honors in Chemical Engineering from IIT-BHU, India.

Navin Chaddha

Managing Director, Mayfield Fund Navin Chaddha is Managing Director at Mayfield. He is a three-time entrepreneur turned venture capitalist who has invested in over 50 companies, of which over 37 have had IPOs or been acquired. He made his twelfth appearance on the Forbes Midas List of Top 100 Tech Investors in 2020, being named in the Top Five. He is passionate about nurturing the Rise of the Individual and an active philanthropist who has supports efforts in diversity, education, equity, health, and hunger. He holds an MS degree in electrical engineering from Stanford University and a B.Tech degree in electrical engineering from IIT Delhi, where he was honored with the distinguished IIT Alumni Award.

Ashish Chand

President and Chief Executive Officer Ashish Chand has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Belden since February 2023 and is a member of the company’s Board of Directors. Dr. Chand joined Belden in 2002 and has held several leadership positions across the organization. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President of Industrial Automation Solutions (since July 2019) and as Managing Director of Belden Asia Pacific (from August 2017). He is currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area, California, USA. Throughout his tenure at Belden, Dr. Chand has worked across multiple functions including sales and marketing, business development, and operations in both Asia and North America. He has been instrumental in shaping and driving Belden’s long-term growth strategy, solutions and product development, and go-to-market efforts. Notably, he played a critical role in establishing and expanding Belden’s presence in the Asia Pacific region, including launching manufacturing operations in China and India. Before joining Belden, Dr. Chand gained experience in the Oil & Gas, Non-Ferrous Metals, and Optical Fiber industries, where he held roles in project management, operations, business development, and mergers & acquisitions. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Loyola College, Madras (India), an MBA from XLRI Jamshedpur (India), and a Doctorate of Business Administration from the City University of Hong Kong.

Arjun Divecha

Head of Emerging Markets Equity and Board Member, GMO Arjun is the head of GMO’s Emerging Markets Equity team and a member of the GMO Board of Directors. He joined GMO (Grantham, Mayo, Van Otterloo & Co) in 1993 to start a fund that invested in equities in emerging markets.  An immensely successful business manager, Arjun has directed GMO’s unusual approach to emerging markets investing which is a computer- driven process.  This approach has proved to be successful for the Boston-based GMO, which is managing $121 billion in assets, especially for institutions and wealthy investors.  He is currently based in Berkeley, and, as the Chairman of the GMO Board, he is responsible for overseeing the team managing the GMO Emerging Markets Strategy , GMO Emerging Countries Strategy and the GMO Emerging Illiquid Strategy with assets of over $25 billion. Prior to his affiliation with GMO, Arjun spent 12 years at BARRA (a Berkeley-based investment research firm) directing software development, marketing, client service and emerging markets research and development. Arjun is the Founder-Director of The Divecha Centre for Climate Change, located at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and a board member of the Bay Area chapter of Pratham.

Inder Dosanjh

President, Fremont Automotive Retailing Group Inc. Inder Dosanjh has worked in the automotive industry for nearly 35 years, beginning as a mechanic at Central Valley Automotive in Modesto, California. After five years in this role, he was promoted to the position of service advisor. Between 1987 and 1995, Inder Dosanjh would eventually move into the positions of service manager and fixed operations manager at Central Valley. Following his time with Central Valley, Mr. Dosanjh remained in the Modesto area and joined Alfred Matthews General Motors as a general manager. After two years with Alfred Matthews, he returned to Central Valley Automotive Nissan as a partner and general manager. He stayed with the company for an additional six years before becoming president of California Automotive Retailing Group, Inc., a Chevrolet dealer. He still works in this position today, while also serving as president of Hawaii Automotive Retailing Group, Inc., Oakland Automotive Center, and Fremont Automotive Retailing Group, Inc.

Debbie Dreisman

Vice President, Frank Islam and Debbie Driesman Foundation Debbie Driesman has lived in the Washington DC area for almost four decades, having grown up in Ontario, Canada. She worked as a computer engineer in NASA’s communication division at Goddard Space Flight Center until she retired in 1999 to oversee the construction of a home.  She and her husband Frank Islam have since built another new home in Potomac, MD.  Debbie has been involved in the Potomac Area Newcomers Group since 2002.  Debbie is the Vice President of the Frank Islam and Debbie Driesman Foundation. Debbie serves on the Board of Directors of the National Symphony Orchestra, the Honorary Board of the Halcyon Foundation, the Board of Trustees of the Montgomery County Public Schools Educational Foundation, the Board of Directors of Washington Performing Arts, the Board of Governors of the Folger Shakespeare Library and on the National Council of the White House Historical Association.  She and Frank are members of the Kennedy Center International Committee on the Arts, the Abraham Lincoln National Council at Ford’s Theater, the Wilson Center National Cabinet, Meridian International’s Cultural Diplomacy Leadership Council, the Monticello Cabinet, the Global Leadership Council of the UN Foundation, the Washington Cabinet at Mount Vernon and the Madison Council at the Library of Congress.

Chandra Gnanasambandam

Senior Partner, McKinsey & Company Chandra co-leads McKinsey’s Software practice globally. He previously founded and led Fuel—a McKinsey company focused on start-ups—as well as our work in the software space in North America. He was also a founding partner of McKinsey’s Bangalore office. Prior to McKinsey, Chandra was a Java Architect at Sun Microsystems. Vinita Gupta

Ex- Chairman and CEO of Digital Link Corporation Vinita founded Digital Link Corporation (later called Quick Eagle Networks) in May 1985, and was the company’s only chairman. As the founder and CEO, she has been credited with being the first Indian-origin-woman to take her company public (1994). Vinita champions many fields as; Board Member of ‘Simon Laufer Mathematical Science Institute’, Chair of Council of Trustee of ‘TiE-SV’, Community Board Member of ‘Palo Alto Medical Foundation', Board Member of 'Asia Society of Northern California’ and Advisory Board Member of ‘The Stanford Center for Asian Health Research and Education’.  She is also a journalist with publications on HuffPost and website guptavinita.com. Born in India, Vinita came to the United States in 1974 and earned her MS in electrical engineering from UCLA.  She holds two US patents in technology.

Kanav Hasija

Hasija is a graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, and holds a master’s degree in patent law from the University of New Hampshire.
