Revathi Advaithi is the Chief Executive Officer of Flex Ltd., a $26 billion global manufacturing giant and supply chain solutions provider. She assumed the role of CEO in February 2019 and is responsible for architecting the company’s strategic direction and leading Flex through a transformation that is defining a new era in manufacturing. Advaithi graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in 1990, and earned an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in 2005. Her career began on the factory floor, where she started as a shop floor supervisor in Shawnee, Oklahoma.
In 1995, she joined Eaton, a management company in England, as the Plant Manager, holding various leadership roles there before shifting to Honeywell International in 2002. In 2019, Advaithi became the CEO of Flex, a historic achievement as one of only 24 women leading a Fortune 500 company at the time. Under her leadership, Flex has shifted its focus to end-to-end customer value chain ownership, augmenting its core contract manufacturing business. Flex has focused on integrating advancements like AI and other emerging technologies into manufacturing processes.
Advaithi has received significant recognition for her leadership. She was named to Fortune’s Most Powerful Women list in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023, and was listed on the inaugural CNBC Changemakers: Women Transforming Business list in 2024, and received the prestigious ‘Global Indian of the Year’ award.
