Sridhar Ramaswamy is the Chief Executive Officer of Snowflake, a position he assumed in February 2024. Ramaswamy holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Brown University and a Bachelor of Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology Madras. His leadership at Snowflake is focused on accelerating the company’s innovation, particularly in leveraging AI to deliver significant business value to customers through Snowflake’s Data Cloud. A highly respected veteran in the technology industry, Ramaswamy is recognized for his deep expertise in AI, data, and digital advertising.

Prior to leading Snowflake, Ramaswamy co-founded and served as CEO of Neeva, an ad-free, privacy-focused search engine, which was acquired by Snowflake in 2023. His career also includes a distinguished 15-year tenure at Google, where he rose to Senior Vice President of Advertising and Commerce, overseeing the company’s massive advertising business. He also held research positions at Bell Labs, Lucent Technologies, and Bell Communications Research. At Snowflake, Ramaswamy aims to drive growth by harnessing AI and machine learning to enhance data analytics and cloud computing solutions, positioning the company at the forefront of the AI revolution.
