Vivek Chaand Sehgal is the co-founder and Chairman of Samvardhana Motherson Group (SMG), a multinational conglomerate primarily known for its role as a leading automotive component manufacturer. Under Sehgal’s leadership, SMG has grown into a diversified automotive supplier with a wide product range, serving major global car manufacturers like BMW, Ford, Mercedes, Toyota, and Volkswagen. He has driven the Group’s expansion through global ventures, joint ventures, and numerous acquisitions, successfully transforming it into a global entity with a presence in many countries and manufacturing facilities worldwide.

Sehgal is an Australian citizen and holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Delhi. He has been recognized with several accolades throughout his career, including “Man of the Year 2010” by Autocar Professional Magazine, the “Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award for Manufacturing” in 2012, and “Best CEO” awards from various business publications.
