Bhaskar “BG” Ghosh  is a Partner at SF venture firm 8VC ($8B AUM) where he leads the core enterprise s/w investment practice, and helps build disruptive businesses in AI enabled Services, BPO, SaaS and Infra. BG serves on the boards of Nile, Bespoke Labs, Rocketlane, Yugabyte, Ushur, Datahub, Tilda Labs, Spotnana, LightBeam, and Aryn, and has co-founded fintech and enterprise s/w companies through the 8VC Build program. (8VC bio). BG has a PhD from Yale CS, and spent his formative Silicon Valley years building core tech and teams during the hyper-scaling phases of LinkedIn Data, Yahoo Ads, Oracle RDBMS and Nerdwallet marketplaces.

In the India-US corridor, a major focus for BG has been driving the expansion of 8VC’s early phase investments (e.g. Rocketlane) and AI Engineering incubation teams, and in backing and causes in arts, entrepreneurship and education through his family non-profit SACSA – see Ragas Live (NYC).
