Jonathan Siddharth

CEO & Co-Founder

Turing CEO and co-founder Jonathan received his masters in computer science from Stanford University where he pursued his interests in machine learning and search.

While interning at Yahoo’s Search Relevance group, solving page rank issues and applied machine learning became the catalyst for his early career and entrepreneurship ideas. This led Jonathan to working on ranking and search relevance at Powerset, later acquired by Microsoft. In 2008 he co-founded Rover, the content discovery app acquired by Revcontent in 2016.

The experience in working with distributed talent across the globe sparked Jonathan’s next move.

Believing that the world is full of untapped human potential and that your zip-code or country shouldn’t dictate your future, Jonathan co-founded Turing in 2018. Applying machine learning and indexing to engineer profiles, he built an AI system that sources, vets, matches and manages remotely located developers for clients in fast-moving, technology-driven industries. In 2021, Turing achieved unicorn status and was valued at $4 billion by 2022.

Jonathan was a board member of Quora, an investor and advisor to StartX, a startup accelerator for Stanford-affiliated entrepreneurs, and lives in Portola Valley, California.
