Dr. Raashina Humayun is a Founding Partner and CEO of LaurelesTech, a strategic technology leadership and workforce development firm dedicated to advancing the semiconductor ecosystem through modular, scalable programs and high-impact
partnerships. LaurelesTech leverages decades of technical expertise, a high-caliber advisory network, and a full-cycle innovation approach to build inclusive talent pipelines and accelerate technology adoption.

Dr. Humayun is a semiconductor industry trailblazer, prolific inventor, and mission-driven leader whose career spans core technical innovation, product revenue growth, and talent transformation. With over 70 issued U.S. patents, her engineering contributions have
advanced the state of the art in atomic layer deposition, metallization, low-k dielectrics, gapfill, and integration—core technologies enabling next-generation chips. Her tenure at Lam Research saw her drive breakthrough process and hardware solutions that underpin today’s most advanced semiconductor manufacturing nodes.

Beyond technology, Raashina is a civic and cultural leader. She serves as Environmental Commissioner for the City of Los Altos, where she advances climate policy, sustainability initiatives, green infrastructure, and urban forestry. In the arts, Dr. Humayun is a
creative-at-large, has served as Chief Strategy Officer at EnActe Arts, and is a board director of the Los Altos Stage Company. In service to the country of her birth, she is on the board of the 1947 Partition Archive and has served as an advisory board member for the India Community Center.

Her work bridges technology, creativity, and socio-economic impact—whether she’s architecting national workforce programs, helping preserve South Asian oral histories, designing theatrical costumes, or mentoring emerging engineers.

Educated at IIT Delhi, the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and The Ohio State University, with executive training at Stanford GSB, Raashina brings a rare blend of technical depth, strategic vision, and cross-sector influence.

Dr. Humayun lives in Los Altos with her husband, two sons, and their grandparents, along with two cats. She is passionate about natural, organic gardening, cultivating a mix of native and immigrant edibles and ornamentals.
