Rajeev’s journey started in the bustling world of global entrepreneurship, inspired by His Spiritual Teacher HH Radhanath Swami. Guided by the centuries old Vedic model of Sankalpa at inception – Rajeev allocated half his ownership to SEVA – Giving back. Rajeev was the Founder-CEO of Apar Infotech Corp in 1996, which grew into a USD 78m enterprise value company and merged with Ness Technologies in 2003 and listed on Nasdaq in 2004.

Rajeev founded Basil Partners as a family office in 2008, which invested in the IT/ITES sector and then raised a 171M institutional fund in 2018. In 2022, Basil Partners merged with Capital Square Partners to raise a 700M technology services focused fund.

Rajeev has a Bachelors Degree in Engineering and a Masters in Management Studies from Bombay University. He also completed a Fellowship program Advanced Leadership Initiative (ALI) at HARVARD University.

Rajeev Srivastava’s key initiatives focus on combating hunger, promoting ecological sustainability, and fostering a spiritually-guided business community.

Ethical Entrepreneurship: Rajeev co-founded the Artha Forum, where he guides several Entrepreneurs to apply the Practical Veda-Inspired Model to Business.

  • Tapa –  discipline and integrity in “how we earn”.
  • Sankalpa – A commitment before wealth creation begins, pledging a significant proportion of our earnings/ownership to philanthropy.
  • Daan – the actual act of giving, it is the fulfilment of the Sankalpa

Nutrition: He has supported the Annamrita Foundation’s Mid-Day Meal Program from its inception in Mumbai, where it expanded from serving 26,000 children in 2004 to over 1.2 million daily across 22 kitchens nationwide

Ecological and Community Upliftment: He is actively involved with and serves on the Board of Govardhan Ecovillage United Nation #1 Award for Eco-Tourism , aimed at recreating the ancient Temple Town Model of India via S3 Impact:

  •  Spirituality : Practice of Faith & community programs, promoting values, culture
  •  Sustainability : Proactive management of Water, resources, minimise ecological impact
  •  Social Impact : High Impact Initiatives for over 75 villages resulting cultural & socio economic integration.
