Satish Gupta is a philanthropist, entrepreneur, and business leader. He was born in India in 1959 and received a degree in Economics from Loyola College in Chennai, India. In 1979, he arrived in Dallas, Texas to further his studies at the University of Dallas. In 1981, Mr. Gupta received an MBA in International Trade and Management. That same year, he founded SB International, a company that started as a steel exporter but later evolved into a global trader and producer of prime steel and metal products in the domestic and international markets. In 2011, his exemplary commitment to higher education continued at Harvard University via personal invitation into the Owner/President Management (OPM) Program. In 2013, Mr. Gupta graduated from, and became an alumnus of, the esteemed OPM executive education program at Harvard Business School. Today, Mr. Gupta appreciates work-life balance through community activism and the enjoyment of yoga, meditation, and tennis.
Mr. Gupta is the Founder of various companies in his group like SB International, Inc., Gupta Capital Group, CSP Metals dealing in Metals, Energy and Finance related fields worldwide.
He is also the Founder President of the Gupta Agarwal Charitable Foundation. The Foundation was formed to take an active role in contributing to the welfare of communities both locally and worldwide. Through his experiences in family, community, and global business, Mr. Gupta witnessed the human potential and developed a passion for creating opportunities, principally fundamental, for others.
He is married to Yasmin and has three children and four grandchildren
