Ratun Lahiri

Senior Advisor at Unicorn Ventures, Board Member at IIT M Unicorn Frontier Fund

Ratun Lahiri brings over two and a half decades of business leadership and global consulting experience, with deep-rooted work across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. She is based in London and serves as Special Advisor to Unicorn India Ventures, driving institutional international fundraising efforts. 

Prior to joining Unicorn India Ventures, Ratun was Head of Global Development Programs at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), a position reporting directly into the LSEG Executive Committee. She was responsible for executing global projects, primarily around LSEG’s partnerships with frontier exchanges. Earlier in her career, she held senior leadership roles at Cadbury, PricewaterhouseCoopers, and Wipro. 

Ratun earned dual degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Business Management, and an MBA — graduating first in her class with the institute gold medal for academic excellence — from IIT and the Asian Institute of Management, Manila. She was awarded the prestigious ITC Scholarship in 1994 (one of four recipients selected across India) and received the Distinguished Alumni Award from IIT Kharagpur in 2019. She serves as President of the IIT Kharagpur Alumni Association in the UK. She is a regular writer in global publications on startups and geopolitical matters.
