Arun Jain is the Founder of Polaris Group and Chairman & Managing Director of Intellect Design Arena Limited, the world’s first full-spectrum Financial Technology company spanning Banking, Insurance, and Capital Markets, serving enterprise clients in over 50 countries.

Arun began his entrepreneurial journey in 1986 by founding Nucleus Software, followed by Polaris Software in 1993. In 2011, he demerged Polaris to create Intellect Design Arena, a specialized FinTech company focused on building world-class products and platforms for global financial institutions. In 2023, Arun led the launch of eMACH.ai, a composable, open finance platform, followed by Purple Fabric, the world’s first Open Business Impact AI Platform, where he now serves as Chief Architect. Purple Fabric was recently recognized as “Best AI Development Platform” at the ET Enterprise AI Awards 2026, with Arun himself named “Indian CEO Driving AI Innovation.”

A strong advocate of Design Thinking as both a science and a philosophy, Arun founded FinTech 8012, the world’s first Design Center dedicated to financial technology, as well as the School of Design Thinking. He has authored several books, including UnMukt: Science and Art of Design Thinking, Digital: The Art of The Possible, and From Teenager to Achiever: The Power of 5 Minds. Arun holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Delhi College of Engineering.
