Sandeep Bakhshi is the Managing Director and CEO of ICICI Bank, India’s second-largest private sector bank. He has held this position since October, 2018, and was recently reappointed for another three years. Bakhshi earned a degree in mechanical engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, and has a postgraduate degree in management from XLRI – Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur. He has been with the ICICI Group since 1986 and has handled various assignments across the group in ICICI Limited, ICICI Lombard General Insurance, ICICI Bank and ICICI Prudential Life Insurance.

Under Bakhshi’s leadership, ICICI Bank has focused on digital transformation and strategic growth.
