Sanjiv Lamba is the Chief Executive Officer of Linde PLC, a leading global industrial gases company. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata (1987) and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1989. Lamba began his career in 1989 with BOC India in Finance, progressing to Director of Finance and subsequently Managing Director for the India business in 2001. Throughout his 29 years with BOC/Linde, he has worked across multiple geographies including Germany, the UK, and various Asian markets.

With Linde, he served as Head of South & East Asia Regional Business Unit overseeing 11 countries from 2006-2011, and has been a Member of the Executive Board since March 2011. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Lamba served as Chief Operating Officer after holding the position of Executive Vice President, APAC.

As CEO, Lamba’s leadership philosophy emphasizes empowering teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and staying attuned to market dynamics to capitalize on emerging opportunities. His extensive experience in the industrial gases industry spans over three decades, with deep expertise in Asian markets and global operations.
