Basant Kedia
Head of Innovation/VC at Safra National Bank
Basant Kedia is a professional currently serving as Head of Innovation/VC at Safra National Bank. Before this he was Executive Vice President and Managing Group Director at Flagstar Bank.
He has a strong background in Start ups/ Venture and private banking, having previously worked at First Republic Bank as a Senior Managing Director and was instrumental in getting FRB into the Innovation space. His expertise includes working with high-net-worth individuals, venture capital clients, and private equity firms. He has a family office and is an avid investor in multiple startups VC funds and recently has also been involved in development in Student Housing. Basant holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Master of Commerce degree from the University of Mumbai, as well as an MBA from Baruch College, Zicklin School of Business. When he is not working he can be seen playing golf with his daughters.
