Abhay Dandekar

Physician, Founder/Host of TRUST ME I KNOW WHAT I’m DOING

Abhay Dandekar, MD, is a physician with over 25 years of practice and experience in a variety of clinical and administrative venues.  He is an Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at University of California San Francisco and serves as a senior physician at The Permanente Medical Group. He has served as an educational leader for medical student and residency training programs and as a leader in mobile pediatrics, population health, and clinical ambulatory care.

Abhay is also a seasoned conversationalist and founded the widely circulated podcast TRUST ME I KNOW WHAT I’m DOING, where he shares weekly chats with interesting, talented, and prominent individuals from the global Indian and South Asian community.  He has hosted hundreds of guests, all in a pursuit of sparking knowledge, furthering awareness, and advancing the notion that “conversation is the antidote to apathy”.
